Concept Knives

These are some of the early production and design knives that have been used to test and refine current and future production models. Every single project is a learning experience and the lessons learned from the last project are perpetually parlayed into the next . If you see something here that you like that isn't in our store please feel free to reach out to us. We love new challenges.

Boning Knife

Cut from AEB-L stainless steel and hardened to a 60 HRC, this is the first of the production boning knives. Perfect for trimming a brisket, prepping a turkey, or trimming some ribs, this knife is an essential piece of kit for any chef that prepares a lot of meat.

Paracord Wrapped Camp Knife

Finished in O-1 Tool Steel, and available in stainless, the camp knife is a perfect companion in the wilderness or even everyday. The dual layers of paracord add versatility to the knife with the many applications of paracord. Hopefully you never need it in a survival situation, but it’s there if you do.

Camp Knife

Similar to its paracord wrapped brother, the camp knife is a versatile cutter that is as at home in the bush as it is in everyday life. It is perfect for those who prefer fixed handles to paracord and is available with scales and bolsters of your choosing.

Camp Knife 1.0

This is a prototype of the camp knife that was one of the first knives to utilize stainless steel construction, spine jimping, and experimental ergonomics. This knife has proven the quality and ease of maintenance that AEB-L Steel provides and continues to see hard use everyday.
