[SOLD] Custom 6.5" Chef

This custom 6.5" Chef is the result of a happy accident. While making a 7" Chef, the handle snapped during heat treat. There's an old saying that knifemakers don't make mistakes, only smaller knives. A challenge presented itself and I can honestly say I'm pleased with the result. I might be making more of these in the future. 

The blade is cut from AEB-L Stainless and hardened to 61 HRC. It is finished with a Stabilized and Dyed Purple Curly Maple hidden tang handle capped with brass and ebony blackwood construction giving a unique yet classic look that draws inspiration from classic Japanese cutlery.  Featuring a full flat geometry backed by a slim .080" spine, this knife is extra slicey. Vegetables run in fear when this knife leaves the drawer.
